Abdullah Alhumaid is the Manager of Consulting Services Department at Saudi Aramco.
Abdullah is leading Saudi Aramco’s central engineering for mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering disciplines; specializing in static equipment, rotating equipment, electrical equipment, materials engineering, civil and structural engineering, non-metallic engineering, and asset reliability & integrity management.
He is leading highly qualified subject matter experts to provide technical consultations, standards governance, deploying of new technologies, in addition to teaching technical courses.

Mr. Bader Busbait is currently the Manager of Inspection Department in Saudi Aramco. Also, he is a board member in SCE. Busbait has over 25 Years of experience in the Engineering Disciplines and Professional Engineering Development. He led many engineering organizations including the engineering and technology division in Aramco Overseas Services at Netherlands. He is active member locally and regionally in technical societies including ASQ and NACE. He is the former chairman of NACE Dhahran Section. He led effectively several technical incident investigations.

Dr. Samir Mekid
Dr. Samir Mekid is a mechanical engineering professor at KFUPM. He is the Director of Interdisciplinary Research Center for Intelligent Manufacturing & Robotics, Director of Metrology Laboratory, and Associate Editor of Arabian Journal of Science and Engineering (AJSE).
Samir Mekid is a Chartered Engineer registered in London (UK) by IMECHE and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Department of Mechanical Engineering (KFUPM). Precision Machine Design, Instrumentation and Manufacturing are his main research areas.
Prior to joining KFUPM, Samir served as Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at UMIST (UK) since 2001 which became later The University of Manchester (UK). He worked with Caterpillar in the Design Office for two years and consultant to many industrial companies.
Samir has published more than 100 research papers, 2 books in CRC and Springer and about two dozen of Patents. He received the KFUPM Research Excellence Award and The Academic Advisor Award.

Jim E. Meyer, P.E
Jim E. Meyer, P.E., has over 45 years of experience in refining petrochemical, chemical, power generation, and industrial facilities.
Jim has served as Chair of the ASME B31.3 Process Piping Section Committee and Chair of ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code Section Committee, Chair of the ASME B31 Standards Committee, and Chair of the B31 Mechanical Design Technical Committee. He currently serves on ASME B31.3 Process Piping Section Committee, ASME B31 Mechanical Design Technical Committee, the ASME Board on Pressure Technology Codes and Standards, and TES – 1 Safety Standard for Thermal Energy Storage Systems, Molten Salt.
Most recently, Jim co-authored chapters in the “ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Companion Guide,” 5th Edition, covering the ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code and the B31.3 Process Piping Code. Past projects and work experience have involved major oil refineries, petrochemical plants, fossil, nuclear, solar, and alternative energy generation, as well as cryogenic and vacuum test facilities.

Dr. Jamal F. Nayfeh is the Dean of the college of Engineering and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) since September 2009.

Previously, he was the Associate Dean for Academics, Marketing, and Outreach in the College of Engineering and Computer Science and a Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Mechanical, Materials, and Aerospace Engineering (MMAE) at the University of Central Florida (UCF).
He received his Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech in 1990. Dr. Nayfeh is a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Society of Automotive Engineers, and American Society for Engineering Education.
Dr. Nayfeh’s current fields of research include Design optimization, Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing/Finite Element Analysis, Rapid Prototyping and Reverse Engineering, 3-D Biomedical modeling, Structural Dynamics, and Composite/Smart Materials and Structures Technology and undergraduate engineering education.
He has published 24 journal papers and 52 conference proceedings papers, presented 51 papers at national and international conferences and meetings, and conducted 15 short courses and workshops. He graduated 16 M.S. and 6 Ph.D. Students. State, Federal, and Industrial grants have funded his research at UCF (40 grants totaling $5,178,526).
Dr. Nayfeh organized national and international technical sessions and serves on a number of national professional committees. Dr. Nayfeh is a reviewer of a number of international technical journals. Dr. Nayfeh is the President and CEO of Nayfeh Engineering Consulting Serves (NECS). He is a Consultant to US Navy SPAWAR, Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, Walt Disney World Ride and Show Engineering, Siemens Power Corporation, and US Corps of Engineers Water Ways Experiment Station.

TONY PINK
Tony graduated with a BSC in Geology from University College of Wales Aberystwyth in 1990 and has a postgraduate diploma (GMP) from Harvard Business School. He spent 5 years in the field as an MWD/LWD Engineer followed by 5 years as a Directional driller. He moved into management with Schlumberger in 2000 and worked in several posts including Drilling Training Manager and the Engineering Manager for US Land.
In June of 2011 Tony became the VP of Automated Drilling Applications with the objective of delivering an automated drilling solution for NOV and our industry. In 2014 He became the VP of services for a new division of NOV called Dynamic Drilling Solutions and is responsible for delivering Automated Drilling Solutions to NOV’s customers. He has also been an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Drilling Systems Automation Technical Section (DSATS) including the role of program chairman.
In October 2018 of he became the CTO for NOV, Wellbore Technologies. Responsible for the digital strategy and technology portfolio for the segment including geothermal drilling technology. In March this year Tony moved into his current role responsible for Subsurface Technology particularly focussed on Geothermal and Carbon Storage. He is on the “Geothermal Road Map” committee for the US Department of Energy
He has published and presented 11 SPE/IADC papers and recently presented at the Geothermal Rising Conference on “Particle Impact Drilling”, he has 4 US and EU Patents on Closed Loop Drilling Automation, Automated Directional Drilling, Early Kick Detection and Particle Drilling.

Abdulrahman holds a Bachelor Degree in Industrial Systems Engineering and Master’s Degree in Engineering Management, from KFUPM. He has more than 20 years of experience leading several functions and organizations within Saudi Aramco including Information Technology, Corporate Planning, Performance Management, Local Content, Business Development, Procurement, and HR Development.
Abdulrahman represented Saudi Aramco in 8 national committees with the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Industry, Royal Commission of Jubail & Yanbu, and others in relation to iktva local content and industrial business development. He also serves as the Vice Chairman for the Nonmetallic Materials Association (NMA) and as the Board Secretary for Specialists Development Program, Advanced Professional Development Program, and Technical Services HR Steering Committee.
In his previous role, he led an international team in (8) countries to execute Saudi Aramco iktva Program as well as Saudi Aramco Sourcing Strategy. He also led the development of local industrial opportunities which attracted multi billion dollars investments from (36) countries to the Kingdom and helped to create (6,500) direct jobs.
In his current role as the Head of Technical Services HR Department, Abdulrahman is leading several initiatives and programs to address the upskilling needs of Saudi Aramco Professionals as well as Technical Services Leaders. Through the Technical Services Professional Academy, TS HR offers a wide range of courses, certifications, and programs to more than 75,000 employees and contractors on an annual basis.

Engr. Hassan carry around 20 years in the Petrochemical Industry, leads on strategic and
operational activities, focusing on establishing methodology that enrich the quality of company
assets through Reliability improvements projects.
He is currently the General Manager of Technical & Reliability of the newly integrated
Sipchem. In addition to that, he is a board member for different SIPCHEM affiliates.
Prior to his present post, previously he was General Manager Maintenance in SAHARA
petrochemical.
Engr. Hassan earned his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineer from King Fahad
University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) by the year 2003. Following his graduation, he
joined SABIC- SHARQ for 10 years leading all Reliability and Maintenance Strategies.
